Summary[]

Jessica is doing re-writes for a movie that is beset with both artistic and financial problems. When the stunt man dies doing a car jump scene, the director is charged with murder. It is up to Jessica to find the real killer.

Trivia[]

Victim: Webb Prentiss

Killer: Lucy Hendrix

Cause of death: sabotaged stunt by switching transmission gear

Motive: revenge against Prentiss for killing her father with an earlier sabotaged stunt in order to take his job as stunt coordinator

During the show movie posters are seen in an office, one movie is called Crimson Harvest, the title of Murder, She Wrote: Crimson Harvest (1994).

Although set in Rome, no filming actually took place there.

This is quirky. When Monte is arrested by the police his insignia on his hat resembles the one Mussolini had on his hat.

Webb had brought up that Rex was the one that tampered with the stunt rigging. He pretended to find the bad weld, With Webb bringing up that Rex tampered with the stunt rigging, where's the story that put Monte there before it was brought up that he checked the car. The viewers of this episode by any other forms of media would question that it wasn't brought up at all until Monte, himself, had brought it up, don't you think?
