Trivia[]
This is one of the few episodes in which the killer doesn't confess to the crime after they're revealed, with Lt. Faraday instead saying that he's sure they can get them to confess.
The episode’s title is a Reference to the show itself’s title, being Murder, She Spoke instead of Wrote.
Victim: Randy Witworth
Killer: Al Parker
Cause of death: Stabbed
Motive: Al was afraid Randy would find out he was the bootlegger.
Goofs[]
I can see how Al Parker was responsible for the blackouts at the radio station, but it's very odd that the weapon he had stolen from the Dalton Home, he kept it at the radio station & also, did he know that Stoney confronted Randy about the piracy, & if Al didn't know at all, would he have a motive to kill?
- Just watched the DVD episode (smiley face) and we see the villain practice in the dark, with the infared motorcycle helmet so the steak knife was not a big deal. What concerns me is the motive. It didn't seem obvious. I don't recall the victim zeroing in on the bootleg insider was. The villain was right.. anyone with some effort could have strolled in and grabbed tapes. Am I wrong? Cheers All!
- The black-out affected everything electrical in the studio, so how could Randy have heard Al's recorded voice as well as Stoney hearing Al's recorded voice, so with the black-out affected everything electrical, explain as to how Stoney & Randy have heard the recorded voice ?
- Then this, with how they had shown that Al had rigged the switch to cause the blackouts, I can see as to how Stoney didn't hear it go on & off, because Al had let Stoney know that Randy was hurt, but still, Stoney would have been able to hear the light switch for when Al turned it on, when Stoney heard the recorded voice, he would have been able to hear the switch sound for when Al turned it off to kill Randy, right?
